So...Monday, Reagan had her 6 month check-up with her pediatrician in town. It went well...she is doing fine PLUS SHOTS! :( 1 out of 4 shots was the flu shot, which made her run a fever the next day....when she had an appt. in birmingham. Needless to say, the drive to and from B'ham was not fun! She cried the whole way...slept maybe 15-20 minutes she did good while we waited in the waiting area for AN HOUR AND 30 MINUTES! but then when we got back to the room she started crying her little eyes out! I found a counting pop-up book with animals and sat her on the patient table and read the book to her..she loved it. Not shortly after the 2nd time through the book, Dr. Neurologist walked in and checked her out. I was expecting them to do a head ultrasound..and maybe an x-ray!? NO MA'AM...All they did was check her reflexes and see if she could follow a light with her eyes...and SHE'S FINE! There is a possibility of her having seizures down the road, but since she hasnt had any since she came home form the hospital, she could be fine and not have to come back to see them! (I was VERY relieved to hear her say that!) All, 5 thousand, of her appointments went well and she was a trooper through all of them...except the neuro. one.
Her fever has gone down, but I am PRETTY SURE she has decided to begin sprouting some wittle teefies! haha. I must say....this teething thing...NOT COOL! She won't eat and she cries all the time. Reagan is always a happy baby, but now, not so much. (Any advice in this area would be appreciated by all you moms who have babies with teeth!) She is doing a little better today, and will only eat about 4-5 ounces of formula..and solid food, you can forget it. I will try to feed her green beans tonight and see how she does. (Lord, please let her eat her green beans without spittig them all over my face!)
As for now, she is well...and pretty much perfect! :o)
I sure do appreicate EVERYBODIES prayers during her stay at Children's. She truly is a miracle.

haha, oh I defintely DO NOT miss that stage. Oh, pointer, for teething, use Tylenol not Iboprofen.. IB depletes platelet counts. BAD.
